Here I was minding my own buisiness when I get a mail alert from Joeseph Coaler. "WoooooooHooooooo" I yelp and run off to find out it's just about a t-shirt I can't afford because I don't have a job and the economy sucks. (breathe girl) Anyway, I haven't posted in so long I wanted to be the first somebunny to post. If I had a friend or two I would send them here but, they all abaonded me when I lost my job.<>

Oops. Sorry about that. We tried to make sure the e-mail was clearly a "there is nothing new in the story and won't be in the usual schedule" type thing. We really didn't mean to get you all perked up and everything.

And not ALL of your friends abandoned you when you lost your job. Steve and Lee and Geoff and Kim and Twain (always Twain) and Matt and, yes, even Beverly are there for you, even if they are all a little old hat due to the hiatus and all.

Keep posting and feel like the lucky bunny you are.

Geoff

All right. I have no idea what a hiatus is. I thought it was a Peruvian pack animal (related to the Yak), but apparently, I was wr... wrr... incorrect. I don't know why, I just couldn't keep that inside me any longer.

Hi Whabbit - I am sorry about your current state of unemployment. What is it that you're unemployed from? If it's too personal, then tell me to mind my own business. And then tell me anyway.

Geoff - No comment.

Wiyck - See, the truth is, we don't know when we will get back to the writing. Actually, we're having one of those Martin and Lewis things and we might never speak to each other again. What's that? Oh, okay. I was just informed it's a Lewis and Clark thing, so onward ho. To answer your question as best as possible for real - we've decided to resume writing as soon as we get our one millionth fan or until we get the $2,060,000.00 we keep asking for. I hope for the latter. Geoff wants the fans because he says he's in this for the art, but I know it's because he's an egomaniac. I just want the money. And the praise. And beef.

With the Utmost of Sincerity and Hiatusness (I threw that in for Geoff),
Steve

Wow! You guy's still haven't made that $2,060,000.00 yet?

I've been away for so long, and just did a hard nightshift's worth of back-reading, (the reading was hard, not the work, otherwise i wouldn't of had the time. Not that i find it hard to read, well, not normally, but when it's 05:13am and my i's are hurting from too much monitor, it get's hard. ooh missus!), umm, where was i? oh yes, just caught up with the Installments i have missed, and now i find i'm gonna have to wait for the next roller-coaster ride!!

"oh cruel fate, why do u mock me so?"

Well, anyway, glad u guys have been keeping the Weeping Willow saga going, and i'm sure whatever u serve up for us next time will be fried gold.

Mucho money, praise and beef to all amigos.

Silly Whabbit- I'll take care of you in your time of need. I once was laid off for 7 months and it is certainly no fun. Hope you find something better soon. Perhaps I could employ you- I need a snow shoveler, a grassmower, a dinner cooker, and a litterbox-cleaner-outer. The only catch is you must look good in a french maid outfit and enjoy beer and hockey. When should I expect your arrival in Detroit? P.S.- as a bonus, I could get you one of those cool WW t-shirts I've been hearing about.

Wow! OK I am a laid off construction worker. Haven't picked up an electrical part in almost two years but have been survivng by summering in Alaska. Good thing whabbits eat fish, better thing whabbits know how to fish!!

Jett~~ Ya know I can do ALL those things on your list EXCEPT watch Hockey! The beer of choice is micro-brew but, I don't consume much. My tail even looks good (especially after a few of those micro-brews)in one of those french maid outfits you mentioned! The offer of a WWTee is the hook though! How bout if we talk about it again to when Geoff and Steve get that $2,060,000.00 they keep hinting at? ( I was only aiming for a tee shirt and I got offered a job AND trip!)

If memory serves me correctly, and I admit to short term memory loss, weren't there some stand in, stunt or replacement writers in an earlier issue?
